    What is a Fest?
    A fest is an event that can be centered around a specific fandom, character, ship, etc. There are different types of fests, but this Cora Fest will be a prompt-fill fest. Writers and artists can submit and fill prompts by creating either fics or artwork!    How will it work?
    During the prompting period, people will be able to submit as many prompts/ideas as they want through forms on a provided website. Self-prompting is also welcome!    During the claiming period, participating writers and artists will then be able to claim (select) the prompts that they wish to fill and create for. Creators will have two months to work on their pieces before final submission.

    Rules

    1. Cora must be the focus of the story!2. This is an 18+ only fest -- no minors will be allowed to participate!3. This fest is going to be run exclusively through the Cora Fest discord server. Links to the discord will be available in the fest guidelines as well as our twitter and tumblr bios.4. Communication is KEY! Please do not ghost the mods, just keep in contact. We understand things happen irl that aren't planned for. If you need an extension, please let mods know ASAP.5. NSFW and Deaddove content is allowed but MUST be tagged appropriately!6. There is no official minimum word count for writers in the fest! Likewise, WIPs will be allowed for all artists. Please reference our guidelines for more information on what can be submitted for this fest.7. WIPs/incomplete works are accepted in the fest!8. AI content is not allowed!9. You MUST request the “participant” role in the discord server in order to participate. You can do so in the introductions channel or the ask-a-mod channel.

    FAQs

    Q: Is this event 18+?
    Yes! Minors will be allowed to join our Discord server and will be allowed to submit prompts but will not be able to create for the event. We want to make a safe event for everyone.    Q: Is there a theme for this?
    No specific theme! As long as the creation focuses on our beloved Cora, you are golden!    Q: Do I have to create a Cora ship?
    A: No! If you want to create platonic gen rated content, that’s fine. Again, as long as Cora is focused on, that’s all that matters.    Q: What is considered "ghosting"?
    A: When you "disappear" and are not in contact with the mods.    Q: How long do we have before it is considered ghosting?
    A: For mods during check in time, if you haven't checked in by the last day, we will reach out through dms and you will have 24hrs after that to respond.    Q: Is there a minimum word count required?
    A: No! There is no official minimum word count for the fest.    Q: Are there any banned topics?
    A: No! Even Deaddove content will be accepted in this event. However, ALL DEADDOVE CONTENT MUST BE TAGGED APPROPRIATELY!!!    Q: What is Deaddove?
    A: Our definition of Deaddove is a work that features problematic content.    Q: Are there any check ins and are they strict?
    A: There is one check in! We will be sending out a form to just check in with everyone. We do require that the form is filled out, however.    Q: Are WIPs allowed?
    A: Yes!    Q: Is AI content allowed?
    A: No! AI content is not allowed in the fest or in the discord server!    Q: How many stories / art pieces can I create?
    A: As many as you want/can! Just be careful not to over work/stress yourself out~    Q: How will art be "revealed"?
    A: Artists will post their works DURING the art reveal period on the schedule, @ing the twt fest. From there we will share/promote the art work!    Q: Is there going to be a discord community server made for this fest?
    A: Yes!    Q: Can I join the server if I am not creating content or signing on as a beta?
    A: Yes    Q: Are betas going to be provided?
    A: No, betas are not going to be provided. However, there will be beta roles just like there will be writer and artist roles in the server.
